ARTIST ALERT - YASMIN
Team UK is delivering in a big way this year and Yasmin is another 'graduate' on the scene. She has been on the circuit in a DJ capacity for a number of years and came to most people's attention when she sang the vocals on Devlin's single Runaway. She's now going for it on her own and with her catchy choruses and thumping bass-line, she's ticking my boxes.
Check out her recent single Finish Line (as played on the show this week) which entered the UK chart at number 13; nice one Yasmin!

Yasmin Shahmir (born December 21, 1988) was born in Manchester, United Kingdom to an Iranian father and English mother. At a young age she moved from Manchester and was raised in Kilmacolm, near Glasgow in Scotland.Yasmin began her musical career when she was seventeen years and left university, moving to London, where she focused on DJing. During her time in London, Shahmir was spotted and asked to DJ for many big artists, including N*E*R*D and Taio Cruz.
